Liz Perrero
Liz first found yoga in 2012 after she tore her ACL, craving any type of movement her body would allow. After continuing in her practice for a few years, she then earned her 200HR teaching certificate at Asheville Yoga Center in 2018.
What started as sheer curiosity in her basement turned into an avenue used to share the exploration of the body, mind, and movement. Her practice allows creativity to meet science, as her practice stems from a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology. Liz has traveled throughout the country for her education and work, but yoga is one of the things that has stuck with her.
She is currently a PhD student at The University of Kentucky in the Rehabilitation and Health Sciences Program and is a certified athletic trainer. In her free time she is probably running, drinking coffee, or being an extrovert.
